Recipes and Playlist!

As promised, I got recipes and a new playlist for you. So today’s combination is food and music, cool, right??

Here’s my recipe for a healthier version of bagels. I need to translate the text from german into english, so please forgive me mistakes!!

Wholegrain-seed-bagels

Ingredients:

500g of wholegrain flour or spelt flour

1 package dry yeast

1tsp salt

3dl warm water

any kind of seeds

Mix flour, salt and yeast together in a big bowl. Form a little basin and give in the water. Mix the water with dry ingredients from the middle to outside. Knead the dough until it’s smooth. Let it grow on a dry and cool place for at least on hour.

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees (celsius!). Fill 2/3rd of a big pan with water and start to boil it. Take the dough and form bagels. Put the bagels in the well boiling water and let them soak for 1-2 mminutes or until they rise. Take them out of the water and place them on a sheet covered with baking paper. Sprinkle with seeds and bake them for 20-25 minutes.

Tip: You could roast the seeds in pan before using them, delicious! If you want seeds IN the bagels, just add them to the flour mix before baking.

I hope you could understand all what I was writing! 🙂
